Of the 7% of sellers who do go the For Sale By Owner route 57% of the sellers knew the buyer of the home - meaning only 43% of that 7% actually marketed the home correctly enough to find a buyer themselves.
Oh yeah and in the VAST MAJORITY of those cases there was still an agent involved representing the buyer! Because if you want to have a fighting chance as a buyer in todays market you practically MUST have a good agent representing you!๐คทโโ๏ธ
And even if they did find the buyer - HOW DO YOU KNOW IT WAS THE BEST BUYER WITH THE BEST TERMS AT THE BEST PRICE?
You don't! And you will always have to ask yourself "What if you had made sure it was done correctly?"
